Motive power from the early 1900s to today

Sierra Northern has a variety of locomotives suitable for every passenger or freight train from the turn of the 20th century to today. The railroad has a 2-8-0 Consolidation-type steam engine capable of representing the 1900s-50s. There are also vintage diesels including an F7 that ran in the 1940s-60s, and modern units that incorporate the latest technology.
